Profile Description

<li style="margin-left:0px;">Accounts Receivable professionals’ shoulder numerous important roles and responsibilities. In this role as Accounts Receivable Associate, you will:</li>

<li style="margin-left:1.6rem;">Assist with generating and sending invoices to customers accurately and on time. This may involve:</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:1.6rem;">Prepping the monthly Bill Lines Report which includes reviewing detail lines for billing using predefined checklists</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:1.6rem;">Prepping usage files using predefined checklists</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:1.6rem;">Validating final system-generated invoices for completeness and accuracy</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:1.6rem;">Prepping and correcting invoice presentation as needed for specific customers in Adobe Pro</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:1.6rem;">Sending invoices to customers via email or through customer portals</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:1.6rem;">Downloading customers’ detail files </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:1.6rem;">Support of the processing and application of customer payments in the accounting system. </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:1.6rem;">Help track outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue accounts. This may include:</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:1.6rem;">Sending predefined Dunning emails based on aging reports</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:1.6rem;">Sending invoice copies, statements, detail files or other support requested by customers</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:1.6rem;">Partnering with collections accountants on efforts to collect outstanding payments</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:1.6rem;">Processing of credit memos and month-end close activities. This may involve:</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:1.6rem;">Processing AR credit memos in Oracle Receivables module</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:1.6rem;">Documenting processed credits in SFDC</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:1.6rem;">Preparation of standard journal entries, </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:1.6rem;">Account reconciliations </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:1.6rem;">Perform validation of executed revenue contracts to ensure completeness and accuracy of data flowing between Salesforce (“SFDC”) and Oracle. This will involve: </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:1.6rem;">Accurate and timely review of contracts and the creation/correction of service contracts in SFDC </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:1.6rem;">Review of Subscription created in Oracle Subscription Management (“SM”) post integration from SFDC to ensure completeness and accuracy using predefined checklists.</li>
</ul>
 
<ul>
<li style="margin-left:1.6rem;">Perform additional set up related to subscription and/or product status and billing and/or revenue required templates as necessary.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:1.6rem;">Updating subscriptions as needed for uplift </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:1.6rem;">Updating subscriptions for certain corrections as needed and predefined by the Revenue Manager</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:1.6rem;">Ad Hoc projects involving revenue reporting and reconciliation.</li>
</ul>

Desired Experience and Skillset

<li style="margin-left:0px;">Certain skills and qualifications are essential to thrive as a Accounts Receivable Associate. The key skills and qualifications required for this role include:</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:1.6rem;">Finance or Accounting degree with 4-9 years of experience</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:1.6rem;">Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:1.6rem;">Proficiency in financial software and accounting tools, Oracle ERP, SFDC experience and Blackline account reconciliations a plus</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:1.6rem;">Excellent Excel skills and attention to detail</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:1.6rem;">Effective communication and interpersonal skills for customer interactions and team collaboration</li>
</ul>
