Basic Qualifications

<ul>
<li>A proven track record of excellence at the Staff Engineer level or higher within a leading technology company</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Degree in Computer Science with at least 10+ years of industry experience and 5+ years in the Data domain.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Expertise in Big data technologies like Spark, Hive, Flink, Kafka, SQL and NoSQL databases,</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>In-depth, hands-on experience doing data modeling, query optimizations and work in Java, Scala, Python, and related technologies</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Good problem-solving and analytical skills</li>
</ul>

Preferred Qualifications

<ul>
<li>Extensive experience in data engineering and working with Big data</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Experience with ETL or Streaming data and one or more of, Kafka, HDFS, Apache Spark , Apache Flink , Hadoop</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Experience backend services and familiarity with one of the cloud platform ( AWS/ Azure / Google cloud)</li>
</ul>

<li>Responsible for driving larger initiatives for Data track and identifying opportunities to build solutions related to data quality.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Identify unified data models collaborating with Data Science teams and going deep in to business domain</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Drive the data excellence initiatives for the data quality and reliability of the Tier-1 &amp; Tier-2 datasets for the Mobility org.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Solve challenging data problems with cutting-edge design and algorithms.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Coaching &amp; Mentoring senior engineers</li>
</ul>
