Key Responsibilities:

<li style="margin-left:0px;">Bid stage support: Formulate and implement procurement strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective proposals for materials and services at project tendering stage and support bid team to increase success rate.</li>

<li style="margin-left:0px;">Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service level agreements to secure the best terms.</li>
</ul>

<li style="margin-left:0px;">Procurement Planning: Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project requirements and develop a comprehensive procurement plan.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Contract Management: Prepare, review, and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with project specifications and legal requirements.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Cost Control: Monitor and control procurement costs, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Quality Assurance: Ensure that all procured materials and equipment meet the required quality standards and specifications.</li>
</ul>

<li style="margin-left:0px;">Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities, including supply chain disruptions and vendor performance issues.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and provide regular reports to senior management on procurement status and performance.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and company policies.</li>
</ul>

Qualifications:

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical Engg preferred), further certification in Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Experience: Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the electrification projects or Substation projects.</li>
</ul>

Skills:

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Strong negotiation and contract management skills.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Proficiency in procurement software (e RFQ, eBid, eAuction) and Microsoft Office Suite.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Ability to analyze and interpret financial data.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Strong organizational and time management skills.</li>
</ul>

Preferred Experience:

<ul>
<li>Experience in managing procurement for electrical substation projects.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Knowledge of electrical equipment and project execution.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to electrical substations.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Experience in dealing with major equipment manufacturers &amp; suppliers for Substation projects</li>
