Key Responsibilities-

1. Procurement Strategy &amp; Planning

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Develop and Implement Procurement Strategies for Logistics services aligned with the global strategy and the Company’s Supply Chain Goals.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Conduct Spend analysis to Identify Cost Savings Opportunities and efficiency Improvements.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Scope &amp; demand mapping in Collaboration with all internal stakeholders within the Organizations.</li>
</ul>

2. Supplier Sourcing &amp; Contract Management

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Identify, evaluate and select LSPs for transportation and freight forwarding, in alignment with the strategy</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Closely align with the global and local commodity teams and stakeholders and ensure pooling of demand to negotiate the best freight rates and deliver value to the business.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Prepare Long Terms and Short Terms negotiation plans and document them in the Negotiation Calendar.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Negotiate Contracts, Service Level agreements and pricing terms to optimize cost and service performance.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Ensure Compliance with Company Policies, sourcing and tender rules, Industry Regulations and International Trade Laws.</li>
</ul>

3. Supplier Relationship &amp; Performance

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Build and maintain strong relationships with LSPs, in close alignment with the global commodity teams for cross-country suppliers.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Monitor Supplier performance against KPI’s address services issues and drive corrective actions.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Conduct regular business reviews with Vendors to ensure service excellence, in collaboration with the global commodity teams and their global monthly or quarterly business review meetings (one face to the suppliers).</li>
</ul>

4. Market Intelligence and Risk Management:

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Monitor Global and regional Market Trends, Fuel Price Fluctuations, BAF and regulatory Changes.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Identify and Mitigate risks in Logistics operations and Supplier networks.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Develop Contingency plan for Supply Chain disruptions.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Ensure No Sole Suppliers Strategy.</li>
</ul>

5. Cross Functional Colloboration

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Work Closely with all the Stakeholders within the Internal Business Units to define strategies.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Arrange Half yearly reviews together with Business Unit and Vendors together.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Collaborate with Business Unit for Budget Planning and Cost Tracking.</li>
</ul>

6. Sustainability

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Drive Sustainability Initiatives along with Business Units to achieve Organizational Emission reductions Targets.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Ensure Carbon Web Assessments are completed for all the Major Vendors.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Ensure External Sustainable Audits are done for Key vendors to ensure Compliance.</li>
</ul>

7. Digitalization

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Conduct Tenders, eBidding &amp; auctions through Siemens Sourcing tools.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Drive digitalization projects to bring visibility, day quality and adherence to Siemens’ SOPs by LSPs. </li>
</ul>
Qualifications and Skills

Education:

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Graduate in any stream. Graduation/Post-Graduation/Certification in Supply Chain shall be preferred. Experience</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Minimum 10-12 years’ Experience in Logistics with 5-7 years’ experience in Logistics Procurement, Freight Management, Digitalization.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Proven Experience in Contract Negotiation and Vendor Management for Domestic and International Logistic &amp; Customs Clearance.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Strong Knowledge of Logistics Operations, Transportation Mode and Incoterms.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Proficiency in Procurement Systems ( SAP/Oracle or Similar)</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Data Analysis and Cost Modeling Skills ( Power BI)</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Ability to Manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. </li>
</ul>
