Key Responsibilities: 

Test Planning and Design: 

<ul>
<li style="text-align:start;">Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies to cover all aspects of software functionality. </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="text-align:start;">Ensure test setup and test env preparedness. </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="text-align:start;">Identify test data requirements and prepare test data sets. </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="text-align:start;">Review of test cases (TC) ensure coverage of tests as per the Test strategy</li>
</ul>

Test Execution: 

<ul>
<li style="text-align:start;">Execute manual and automated tests to verify software functionality,  performance, and usability. </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="text-align:start;">Log and track defects using bug tracking tool Jira. </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="text-align:start;">Review of test results so that products are defect free and meets stated &amp;  implied requirements. </li>
</ul>

Test Automation: 

<ul>
<li style="text-align:start;">Develop and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate tools and  frameworks (Cucumber, Selenium, TestNG, Test complete). </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="text-align:start;">Automate regression testing to improve efficiency and reduce testing time.</li>
</ul>

Performance Testing: 

<ul>
<li style="text-align:start;">Conduct performance testing to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="text-align:start;">Analyse performance metrics and provide recommendations for optimization.</li>
</ul>

Security Testing: 

<ul>
<li style="text-align:start;">Perform security testing to identify vulnerabilities and security risks. </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="text-align:start;">Work with security teams to address security issues. </li>
</ul>

Mentorship: 

<ul>
<li style="text-align:start;">Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA engineers, sharing best practices  and fostering a culture of quality within the team.</li>
</ul>

Defect Analysis: 

<ul>
<li style="text-align:start;">Support in review and analysis of the defects logged and in effective identification and implementation of corrective and preventive actions. </li>
</ul>

Risk management: 

<ul>
<li style="text-align:start;">Identify potential risks in the software development lifecycle and  work with teams to mitigate them.</li>
</ul>
 
Continuous Improvement: 

<ul>
<li style="text-align:start;">Identify areas for process improvement within the QA function and advocate for best practices in software quality assurance. </li>
</ul>

Collaboration: 

<ul>
<li style="text-align:start;">Work closely with development team, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and understanding of testing requirements.  </li>
</ul>
Qualifications 
Preferred Qualifications: 

<ul>
<li style="text-align:start;">Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="text-align:start;">Relevant Experience of - 5-7 years </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="text-align:start;">Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="text-align:start;">Experience in designing and executing test cases. </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="text-align:start;">Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, TestNG, Test Complete). </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="text-align:start;">Knowledge of software testing techniques (e.g., black-box, white-box, integration, system, acceptance). </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="text-align:start;">Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="text-align:start;">Ability to work independently and as part of a team. </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="text-align:start;">Good communication skills, both written and verbal. </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="text-align:start;">Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="text-align:start;">Experience in API testing via Postman tool. </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="text-align:start;">Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner). </li>
</ul>

<li style="text-align:start;">Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python). </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="text-align:start;">Quality assurance certifications if have (not mandate) (e.g., ISTQB, CQE). </li>
</ul>

<li style="text-align:start;">Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).</li>
