ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

<ul>
<li>Responsible for R&amp;D backlog closure related electrical design and new product development.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Lead the high power 3 phase UPS product technical backlog and drive product enhancements, new auxiliaries development and support field problems which require special electrical expertise.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>These products nature include (but not limited to) high power rated 3 phase UPS, panels, IO cabinets etc which include bus bar, cables, transfer switches, circuit breakers, CT branches for monitoring etc.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>The core electrical expertise is needed for high 3 phase power connections and distribution to and from the 3phase UPSs which range from a few hundred kilowatts to megawatt of power.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Design the electrical systems and perform design calculations, component selection, routing of busbars, cables and other electrical equipment, cooling and ensure product design meets the customer requirements.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Participate in technical reviews of R&amp;D designs and launched products field failure and provide the technical guidance and leadership.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Meeting specifications: Ensuring designs meet customer specifications, as well as standards from organizations like the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE)</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Resolving technical problems: Participating in the resolution of technical problems, and proposing improvements to products, processes, and tools. Can trouble shoot as well as aid customers with design requirements and applications.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Preparing documentation: Preparing engineering deliverables, manufacturing documentation, and drawings</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Coordinating: Coordinating between the electrical team and other departments</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Providing technical advice: Working directly with customers as a technical advisor to help with sales and Product Owner</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Prepare/Review/Approve Design Drawings as project deliverables.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Preparing estimates: Developing accurate estimates that align with the companys marketing and profit strategies.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Provide technical support as needed to the Squad on the 3Ph products. Provide test plan and procedures in in advance. Review final test data to evaluate the designs.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Design: Creating design premises and methodologies, and performing electrical design reviews</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Technical reference: Serving as a technical reference for designers and specialists, and ensuring they participate in interdisciplinary activities.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Coordination: Coordinating the evaluation of design changes and verifying that approved changes are implemented</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Documentation: Maintaining detailed documentation, including technical assessment reports and design documents.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Safety: Identifying potential safety code violations and implementing revisions</li>
</ul>

Required Qualification and Experience

<ul>
<li>Bachelor s degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Minimum of 10+ years of relevant R&amp;D experience in 3 phase electrical connection and distribution design.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>A strong foundation and experience in electrical engineering is essential including single line diagram design of high-power systems.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Working experience in Busbar design &amp; Calculation, Selection of Switch Gears, Selection of Power, and Control Cables according to global engineering codes and standards</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Design/ selection of circuit breakers, current transformers (CT) branches, power distribution section, bus bars, cables, protection devices, grounding scheme, electrical panels, power distribution products, transfer switches, power monitoring solutions, UPS batteries etc.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Experience working with high power (A few hundred of kilowatts to megawatt range) systems.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Strong Knowledge in Electrical AutoCAD and able to create GA, SLD and Submittal Drawings</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Strong knowledge in engineering design deliverables DFM, DFMEA, PFMEA, FTA, CQCS</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Understanding customer requirement &amp; specify for the product adaptation requirements. Suggesting a technically ideal and commercially viable solution to the customer / consultant (end to end solution) with available product basket.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Effective communication and collaboration abilities. Stakeholder management; must lead from front.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to UPS systems, PDU and data center applications.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Understanding of the power and control architectures of 3 Phase PDU/PMM products is a plus.</li>
