ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

<li style="margin-left:0px;">Experience in UPM / Power modules package design and understand the thermal behavior and design accordingly.</li>
</ul>

<li style="margin-left:0px;">Heat sink, Fan design understanding for UPM modules and come up with Innovative ideas</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Demonstrated expertise thermal designing for outdoor electrical enclosures and hardware in CAD.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Experience in Effective packaging of power electronics with thermal design.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Extensive knowledge designing in compliance with regulatory standards (UL/IEC/NEC)</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Able to Calculate heat transfer for different mediums and in different scenarios.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Selecting appropriate materials and components with consideration towards corrosion, acoustics, as well as thermal transfer.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Analyses existing processes that involve heat transfer to determine where they can be improved and made more cost-effective</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Familiarity with PCBAs and PCBA components</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Additional structural simulation, Multiskilled and open to learning.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Researching new materials, technologies, and processes to incorporate into designs</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Work in compliance with the company s engineering design rules and the product development process.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Create and maintain product and project specifications.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Ensure that development work adheres to the requirements of design specifications and other supporting documentation.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Play an active role in projects, team meetings etc. Liaise with other cross functional team members, suppliers, customers throughout projects.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Participate and where necessary lead design reviews, communicate ideas and solutions, influence decisions and problem solving.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Validate and document design solutions ensuring they are robust and reliable by using relevant tools and techniques such as computerised 3D modelling, prototyping, FMEA, FEA, life testing, load testing etc. Evaluate outcomes and act as required.</li>

<li style="margin-left:0px;">Perform a full lifecycle product development(Design,Develop,Test prototypes Implement)</li>
</ul>

<li style="margin-left:0px;">Design Reliable/Robust systems and components that meet the end customer requirement adapting Agile methodology</li>

<li style="margin-left:0px;">Optimizing mechanical design based on competing demands of performance, size, weight, cost, and time</li>
</ul>

<li style="margin-left:0px;">Ensuring designs meet regulatory compliance and qualification testing</li>
</ul>

<li style="margin-left:0px;">Co-ordinate with cross functional teams until the product delivery to the customer end</li>
</ul>

<li style="margin-left:0px;">Respond to the voice of customer, Perform root cause analysis to the issues raised from customer field and provide appropriate solution.</li>

<li style="margin-left:0px;">Evaluate final product s overall performance, reliability and safety</li>
</ul>

<li style="margin-left:0px;">Estimate budget and scope of project</li>
</ul>

<li style="margin-left:0px;">Prepare product Specifications/mfg Drawings and release them in Windchill platform.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Ensure the manufacturing feasibility, and maintenance requirements of designs FEMA, FTA</li>
</ul>

Requirements and skills:

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Proven working exp.(6 to 8 years) in Electro Mech Design(Metal/Busbar/Packaging parts etc)</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Hands on exp. with product lifecycle management tools (PDM/PLM: Windchill/Symphony)</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Proficiency in using Creo, AutoCAD or other softwares</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Preferred to have basic knowledge of Engg.analysis tools (ANSYS, ProMechanical or similar)</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Strong verbal and written communication skills</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Good understanding of Engineering Change Management process</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Good understanding of Basic Mechanical design parameter such as Dimensioning, tolerance, and material characteristics/ properties.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Excellent problem solving and time management skills. </li>
