Key Responsibilities 

<ul>
<li>Description % of Time Spent Legal: Ensure implementation and improvement in the processes to help ensure Company s compliance with applicable laws regulations. </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Timely review, dissemination, and implementation of new / amended laws. Review, draft and negotiate Contracts from legal perspective within defined timelines. </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Standardize / improve upon contracts for efficient reviews to reduce risk for the Company. </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Vetting group agreements, SOW s, and execution thereof. </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Ensuring SoW s are updated. </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Support legal head in establishing processes / systems from legal perspective. </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Vetting affidavits, letters, General/specific General Power of Attorney and applications to Government Departments and Regulatory bodies. </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Review and advice on various legal / compliance matters to Management / functions. </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Identify legal and regulatory risks associated with business and means to mitigate such risks. </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Liaison with third parties like external counsels / law firms, Auditors, etc. 60% Compliance Monitor compliances by functions and identify compliance requirements for the Company. </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Inform, advise and recommendations with respect to compliance matters. </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Plan, conduct and support compliance audits. </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Regularly review compliance controls, Company policies and procedures to ensure that they meet legal and regulatory requirements. </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Ensure that employees take required training offered by Corporate Ethics, Compliance Investigations (CECI) team. </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Timely reporting to internal Management and HO Compliance teams. To act as Privacy Contact and support implementing Privacy laws. </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>40% Qualifications Qualification: LL.B. / LL.M. from a recognized institution. </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Experience: Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in handling Legal and Compliance roles.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Should have experience of working with Corporate Legal function of GCC and IT/ITeS industry. </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>(Not seeking candidates from Legal Process outsourcing operations (LPO operations profile or experience)).</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>The candidate should: o Have in-depth knowledge of Indian laws and regulations particularly in areas of Labour laws, contracts, and regulatory compliance. </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Knowledge of applicable IT / Telecom laws would be preferable. </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Possess good verbal and written communication skills with an eye for details. </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Have ability to research and articulate complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner. </li>
</ul>

<ul>
