Key Responsibilities:

Contract Management:

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts including vendor agreements, NDAs, service agreements, and partnership contracts.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Ensure contracts are compliant with internal policies and applicable laws.</li>
</ul>

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Work closely with business, finance, procurement, HR, and other teams to provide legal guidance and support.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Act as a liaison between legal and other departments to streamline processes and resolve legal queries.</li>
</ul>

Team &amp; Workflow Management:

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Supervise and mentor junior legal team members.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Track and manage legal requests and assignments across the team using workflow tools or trackers.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Ensure timely delivery of legal services and maintain high standards of quality and compliance.</li>
</ul>

Reporting &amp; Documentation:

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Prepare and maintain the Legal Teams monthly MIS reports.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Draft and update department policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).</li>
</ul>

Risk Mitigation &amp; Compliance:

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Identify potential legal risks and provide strategic advice to mitigate them.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Support internal compliance initiatives and policy development.</li>
</ul>

Key Skills &amp; Qualifications &amp; Experience:

Candidates with a B.Com + LLB combination are preferred and candidates with a 5 year BBA + LLB are also equally acceptable

<li style="margin-left:0px;">6-9 years of experience in a corporate legal environment.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Strong expertise in contract review and negotiation.</li>
</ul>

Previous experience in managing junior lawyers is required.

<li style="margin-left:0px;">Ability to look at a situation from various perspectives and preparing alternative arguments is an asset</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Excellent organizational and tracking skills.</li>
</ul>

</ul>

<ul>

Preferred Attributes:
