Responsibilities

<ul>
<li> Process Planning: Process design with in-process checks for machining of 5C engine components (Crank, Cam, Cylinder Head, Cylinder Block &amp; Case Transmission) for mass production</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Facility Planning &amp; set-up: Preparation of Equipment specification, layouts, procurement of machines involving Techno-commercial evaluation through the tendering process, installation &amp; commissioning</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Design and application of jigs, fixtures, cutting tools, and gauges</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Capacity expansion for existing set-up by Bottleneck identification &amp; elimination by Kaizens &amp; cycle time reduction</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>New technology introduction for supporting the desirable Manufacturing process in machine shops</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Proactively Identification of defects/ gaps to design foolproofing in the machining process</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Casting and forging development for engine components</li>
</ul>

Technical/Functional Competencies:

<ul>
<li>Domain knowledge of manufacturing processes &amp; machining processes involved in 5C components, drawing reading, Knowledge of process quality control parameters and techniques</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Ability to understand technical and commercial requirements for the set-up of machine shop &amp; to evaluate alternatives with Cost-benefit analysis</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Hands-on experience on equipment/plant set-up related to the machine shop for 2-wheeler / 4-wheeler</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Design concepts of CNC machines, their application, and programming.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Knowledge of various types of cutting tools, applications, and cutting parameters</li>
</ul>

<ul>
