Key Responsibilities:

<ul>
<li>Lead mechanical design of Gas turbine engine components such as rotor, stator, casing, and fuel atomizers, fuel nozzles and associated assemblies.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Collaborate with structural engineers to ensure structural thermal and fatigue analysis meets the system requirements.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Collaborate with aerothermal engineers to ensure aerodynamic and thermodynamic compatibility of designs.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Develop and validate CAD models and detailed drawings for manufacturing and assembly.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Support design reviews, root cause investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Interface with materials, manufacturing, and testing teams to ensure design feasibility and performance.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Support test activities, define instrumentation and test plans, analyze test data, troubleshoot.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical leadership within the propulsion engineering team.</li>
</ul>

Qualifications

<ul>
<li>Minimum qualification and experience</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>10+ years of experience in gas turbine mechanical design, with background in Gas turbine domain.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Experience working with tight‑tolerances, high‑temperature components such as fuel atomizers, nozzles in combustor module or other mechanical components.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Proficiency in 3D CAD / PLM (e.g., Siemens NX / Teamcenter, CATIA / Enovia) and FEA tools.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Proficiency in drawing interpretations, spec interpretations, manufacturing techniques, GD&amp;T and Stackup analysis.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Experience with design for manufacturability and reliability in aerospace environments.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Proven ability to design mechanical components for gas turbine engines or aircraft systems or Aircraft primary structure.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Should be a Self-starter and work independently, with strong oral and written communication.</li>
</ul>

Preference:

<ul>
<li>Must demonstrate Aircraft industry practices, processes and methods. </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Familiarity with aerospace propulsion systems, including turbofan and turbojet engines.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Proven ability in converting design concepts into a manufacturing drawings. Must demonstrate design to cost / manufacturing and detail design.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Should be an expert in using CAD tools like UGNX, CATIA V5. Should handle advanced modelling techniques like PMI, MBD.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Should be an expert in using PLM tools like Team center, ENOVIA, PDM.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Understands change management, configuration management and documentation.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Exposure to CAD and PLM automation will be added advantage.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Knowledge of advanced materials (e.g., superalloys, thermal barrier coatings).</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.</li>
</ul>
