Role &amp; responsibilities

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Deploy DFx (Design for Manufacturability, Assembly, Testing, Cost etc.) guidelines for NPI program.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Collaborate with Design Engineering Team to drive DFX aspects in NPIs</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Provide technical support to all Global Manufacturing lines,</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Support/ drive localization activities, cost productivity</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Strong hands-on Manufacturing Process - Plastics, Casting, Sheet Metal, Machining &amp; Welding</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Analyze data, charts &amp; graphs, use six sigma tools</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Identify &amp; support development of Jigs, Fixtures &amp; Machine requirements.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Ability to engage in different functions like engineering, procurement, manufacturing etc. to drive projects. Ability to lead CFT meetings.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Tolerance Analysis Conduct tolerance analysis and have a solid grasp of drafting standards, particularly ASME 14.5M, DIN, and BSS. </li>
</ul>
Preferred candidate profile

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">B. E. or masters degree in (Mechanical/Production/ Industrial Engineering)</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Relative experience: 10 to 15 Years </li>
</ul>
Knowledge and skills

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Strong knowledge of Manufacturing Processes.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Strong hands on CAD software - Creo/Solidworks. Hands on DFM Pro and Other DFM software is added advantage</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Experience in Cost &amp; Quality improvement projects.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Awareness of different quality standards.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Sound knowledge in engineering principles, theory and practice as well as product knowledge.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Experience in Product Performance, Prototyping &amp; Testing.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Exposure/experience to working in a global engineering team environment</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Team player, flexibility in adapting to quickly changing business &amp; task/project priorities</li>
