Responsibilities

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">The Indirect Procurement Specialist is responsible for supporting all managers, ensuring that the specified scope (package /material) is completely delivered to the required location at the right time as per contractual requirement.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">PO creation, PO management, PO release in ERP (including support for suppliers)</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">PR change &amp; release</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Vendor change/unblocking and onboarding activities.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">RFQ &amp; negotiation activities</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Expedite Purchase Orders based on the demands.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Drive Order Acknowledgement &amp; Order Fulfillment as per the Need Date or the Promise Date by closely collaborating with the supplier, logistics and buyers.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Adherence to KPIs and business SLA’s is mandatory.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Collaborate closely with the suppliers and other business functions like Warehouse, Sourcing, Quality, Finance etc. to resolve any discrepancies.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Frame contracts management.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Assist stakeholders in keeping them up to date.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Preferably to have practical knowledge of any Oracle or any other ERP system</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Actively looking for the process improvements</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Other tasks delegated by manager.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Ongoing vendor management post-implementation to ensure service level objectives are metTrack and manage Purchase Requests (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs), ensuring timely processing.</li>
</ul>

<li style="margin-left:0px;">Leading key vendor/supplier negotiations</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Preparing proposals, request quotes and negotiating purchase terms and conditions</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Preparing and issuing purchase orders and agreements</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Monitoring supplier performance and resolving issues and concerns.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Inspecting and evaluating the quality of purchased items and resolving shortcomings</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Developing, implementing, and maintaining purchasing policies and procedures</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Conducting research to assess vendors, maintain vendor relationships, and negotiate contracts.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Monitoring inventory levels and managing purchasing agreements according to demand.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Processing software/hardware/training orders</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Vendor relations</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Negotiating and/or securing discounts</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Handling hardware and software inventory management and ensuring margin accuracy on incoming and outgoing orders.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Being one of the main communicators to vendors for quote requests, invoice matters</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Preparing Indirect Purchase Orders for expenses requiring a PO within 3 days, ensuring 100% accuracy (correct vendor, payment terms,) and compliance with internal procedures in a challenging environment</li>
</ul>

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum qualifications

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Bachelor degree in Mechanical/Electrical/equivalent – B.tech preferred</li>
</ul>

Preferred qualifications

<li style="margin-left:0px;">Languages: Fluent in written and spoken English</li>
</ul>

<li style="margin-left:0px;">Process Optimization techniques</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">KPI managment &amp; reporting</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Experience in ERP management/workflow management – Oracle Fusion experience is preferred</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Dashboard creation &amp; management</li>
