Responsibilities

What the Candidate Will Do

<ul>
<li>Act as a focal point for the ITX Platform build, testing, and rollout</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Coordinate and document all testing and validation with internal engineers and the external vendor</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Partner with the Tax Data and Tax Invoicing teams to ensure data quality and readiness for automation</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Track, manage, and report build issues and progress until resolved</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Support creation of process documentation, UAT sign-offs, and training materials for Tax Reporting teams</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Monitor rollout impact and identify improvement opportunities</li>
</ul>
 
<ul>
<li>Collaborate with the Tax Transformation team on other automation or efficiency initiatives</li>
</ul>

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

<ul>
<li>5–6 years of experience in indirect tax compliance, process improvement, or tax systems implementation</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Solid understanding of Indirect tax data and reporting flows</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and structured problem-solving</li>
</ul>
 
<ul>
<li>Clear written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional coordination</li>
</ul>

Preferred Qualifications

<ul>
<li>Experience working in Big Four, shared services, or multinational tax environments</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Exposure to testing, UAT (Uber Acceptance Testing), or validation activities for tax or finance systems</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Strong Excel and data-handling skills (experience with Alteryx, Power BI, or similar is a plus)</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Familiarity with automation or tax technology tools, and the ability to interpret testing outcomes</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Demonstrated ownership mindset - proactive in identifying issues and driving resolution</li>
</ul>
