Key Responsibilities 
1. Financial Management

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">  Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and cash flow management.  </li>

<li style="margin-left:0px;">  Prepare, monitor, and manage budgets in alignment with programmatic goals.  </li>
</ul>

<li style="margin-left:0px;">  Develop financial strategies to optimize the use of funds and ensure sustainability.   </li>
</ul>
2. Accounting and Reporting

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">  Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.  </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">  Generate periodic financial reports for management, donors, and stakeholders. </li>
</ul>
 
<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">  Maintain records and documentation to ensure audit readiness.   </li>
</ul>
3. Compliance and Risk Management

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">  Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including tax filings, GST, FCRA (if applicable), and labor laws.  </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">  Liaise with auditors and ensure timely completion of audits.  </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">  Develop and enforce internal controls to safeguard organizational assets.   </li>
</ul>
4. Grant and Donor Management  

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">  Monitor grant budgets, disbursements, and financial reporting requirements.  </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">  Prepare financial reports as per donor specifications and timelines.  </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">  Ensure compliance with donor agreements and fund utilization guidelines.   </li>
</ul>
5. Team Leadership and Capacity Building  

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">  Lead and mentor the finance team to ensure high performance.  </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">  Conduct training sessions to enhance the financial literacy of program and operations staff.   </li>
</ul>
6. Stakeholder Coordination

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">  Collaborate with program teams to align financial planning with project activities.  </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">  Act as a financial point of contact for external stakeholders, including banks, donors, and vendors.   </li>
</ul>
Qualifications and Experience**   
Education

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;"> Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.  </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;"> Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent are highly desirable.   </li>
</ul>
Experience

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;"> Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive experience in finance and accounts management, preferably in the development sector/NGO environment.  </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;"> Experience in managing grants, FCRA compliance, and donor reporting is highly advantageous.   </li>
</ul>
Skills and Competencies**:  

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;"> Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) and MS Excel.  </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;"> Strong knowledge of accounting standards, budgeting, and financial reporting.  </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;"> Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.  </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;"> Strong interpersonal and communication skills.  </li>
</ul>

<ul>
