Role &amp; responsibilities:

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Responsible for effective management of a privacy framework within Birlasoft group.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Acting as the point of contact for any privacy-related matters.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Establishing and maintaining the Group’s policies and data protection framework. Drive greater consistency of process, practices, and execution across company-wide privacy workstreams.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Being SME, champion the overall implementation plan including deeply understanding of the regulatory requirements and associated technical and operational work required across the company to comply successfully.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Work on day-to day activities to improve and maintain robust privacy framework including ROPA, PIA, TIA, Third party risk management and DSARs etc.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Ensure privacy by design in all aspects of business environment.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Assist with the investigations on privacy breaches and other remedial matters as necessary.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Supporting Head of Privacy and DPO with privacy-related strategic matters.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Providing professional advice and support regarding various data protection compliance obligations and commitments requirements, both external and internal.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Responsible for training and awareness initiatives across the Group.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Align necessary cross-functional business strategies to ensure success in operational execution.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Manage and prioritize work based on urgency and complexity while building operational cadences across technical and operational teams to coordinate work.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Promoting a culture of compliance and integrity across the Group.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Implement technical controls to ensure data protection, such as encryption, access controls, and data masking.</li>
</ul>

Preferred candidate profile:

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Working knowledge of international data protection legislation and security requirements;</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Certifications: Certifications in data privacy, such as CIPP or CIPM, ISO 27001 and 27701</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Working on Data Discovery and Privacy Management tools like Onetrust, Securiti.ai etc</li>
</ul>
