Strategic Responsibilities

<li style="margin-left:0px;">Build scalable systems and processes to deliver value to both internal and external stakeholders.</li>
</ul>

<li style="margin-left:0px;">Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and best practices to increase accuracy and productivity.</li>
</ul>

<li style="margin-left:0px;">Establish internal controls and risk-mitigation measures to minimize financial exposure.</li>
</ul>

Accounts Payable Operations

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Direct and manage invoice processing, vendor payments, and month-end closures in line with GAAP.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Monitor ageing analysis, exception handling, and ensure reconciliation accuracy.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and audit requirements.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Oversee billing, collections, and closure of related audit issues.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Develop and enforce payment policies and approval frameworks.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Drive accurate, timely processing of payments while mitigating operational risks.</li>
</ul>

Team Leadership &amp; Management

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Define functional goals, cascade objectives, and ensure achievement through effective performance monitoring.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Provide leadership, mentoring, and direction to team members.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Monitor KPIs, build accountability, and drive continuous improvement in team performance.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders (procurement, treasury, legal, etc.) and external vendors.</li>
</ul>

Key Requirements

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Chartered Accountant (CA) with 16+ years of relevant finance and AP experience.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Strong expertise in Accounts Payable, internal controls, and compliance.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Hands-on exposure to automation tools / ERP platforms (SAP/Oracle preferred).</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Experience in directly reporting to a CFO or equivalent leadership.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Strong leadership skills with proven ability to lead large teams.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">High integrity, ethics, and adaptability in a dynamic business environment.</li>
