Your Role

<ul>
<li>Work to enhance testing in our CI/CD pipelines by planning, designing, and execution of test cases for our software products.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Responsible for identifying and reporting defects, ensuring that all issues are documented and clearly communicated to the software teams for resolution.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Perform retesting and validation of resolved defects to confirm fixes are accurate and that no new issues have been introduced.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Maintains and improves automated testing procedures, ensuring they are accurate and modern to reflect revisions made to software and systems.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Plan, coordinate, and participate in code reviews to provide feedback on issues relating to testing with software development and systems teams at other global sites.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Work with the Security team to identify any vulnerabilities and revise any test cases as appropriate.</li>
</ul>

Your Background:

<ul>
<li>Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>6+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, software tester, software developer, or other similar role.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Proficiency in test frameworks (e.g. JUnit and gTest) test automation tools (e.g. Selenium, Cucumber, and JMeter) and scripting languages. (e.g. Bash, python, etc.).</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Strong communication skills (both written and oral) for effectively identifying, documenting, and resolving issues.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Proven problem-solving skills and ability to design solutions for complex engineering problems.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Must enjoy working in a creative and collaborative environment as part of a cross-functional project team.</li>
</ul>

Additional Background Preferences:

<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Experience with modern software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban, etc.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Passion for working with cutting-edge technologies such as AI code/test generation tools (e.g. GitHub CoPilot)</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, GitHub Actions, JIRA, and Confluence.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Experience working with Linux operating system.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Experience working with applications deployed in the public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP).</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Experience working in the Automotive industry with vehicle network systems.</li>
</ul>
