Required Skills

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">7+ years of hands-on experience with IBM MQ administration in enterprise environments.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Lead the operations and support of critical middleware platforms including IBM MQ, IBM DataPower, and Managed File Transfer (MFT) in a 24x7 production environment.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Ensure high availability, performance, and security of integration services across distributed systems.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Drive incident, change, and problem management processes, ensuring timely resolution of production issues and root cause analysis.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Coordinate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to plan and implement platform upgrades, patches, and improvements with minimal impact.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Strong knowledge of MQ architecture, distributed queuing, pub/sub models, clustering, and high availability setups.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Proficient in scripting (Shell, Python, or PowerShell) for automation of MQ tasks.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Experience with SSL/TLS configuration and certificate management in MQ.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Understanding of network, firewalls, and load balancing as it relates to MQ messaging.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Experience integrating MQ with monitoring and logging tools.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.</li>
</ul>

Preferred Skills

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Experience with MQ on Cloud (e. g. , IBM MQ on AWS, Azure, or IBM Cloud).</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Experience with containerized MQ deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Basic experience, programming experience in Linux , Python</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Good in troubleshooting and analyzing using Troubleshooting tools</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Should be self-starter and team player in solving issues and mentoring other team players</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Automation and Continuous improvement support</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Good Communication Skills and able to independently handle tasks</li>
</ul>
