Key Responsibilities

Design &amp; Build

<ul>
<li>Create low level design documents (including code samples/outlines) and detailed engineering specifications based on complex business, user and non-functional (e. g. , performance, reliability) requirements.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Write code, adhering to coding standards, procedures and techniques.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Actively participate in the code review process to ensure development work adheres to standards and specifications (including peer review and code review external to team).</li>
</ul>

Test &amp; Execute

<ul>
<li>Unit test all code and programs prior to releasing them to quality assurance.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Assist quality assurance in identifying test cases and creating/mining test data to enable a thorough test of all development deliverables.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Respond to all inquiries and issues in a timely manner as developed code/program moves through the testing process and into production.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Provide implementation/production support as required.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Improve the health of system assets by identifying enhancements to improve performance, reliability, and resource consumption.</li>
</ul>

Planning

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Work in partnership with the project team and business to fully understand project goals and requirements and use this knowledge to effectively plan and execute the development process.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Process - Consistently apply appropriate development principles and standards during all phases of the development life cycle.</li>
</ul>

Required Qualifications

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. -</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">4-7 years of relevant experience.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Strong programming &amp; problem solving , analytical skills .</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">4+ years of practical experience and proven success with the design and build of Java , Spring , Spring Boot , Docker based Micro services Applications.</li>
</ul>

Mandatory Skills :

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Expertise in JAVA , Spring Boot , Spring Framework.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Strong programming &amp; problem solving skills.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Expertise in Micro Services development with security / availability / performance aspects being thorough.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Sound knowledge on Object oriented programming concepts, Java 8 required.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Experience in working on Multi threaded Systems.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Experience in working on Docker Container Technologies. Experience in DevSecOps tools and best practices ( must have Jenkins Knowledge).</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Exposure to Unit testing framework like Mockito, JUnit.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Good knowledge on system design and various design patterns.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Expertise in Unix commands.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Expertise on GIT and Maven usage. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision</li>
</ul>

Preferred Qualifications

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Exposure in any Actor based framework like akka is a plus.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Exposure to working in a cloud/distributed environment (like AWS , Kubernetes , Apache Mesos) is a plus. </li>
