Responsibilities

<ul>
<li>Develop and implement pricing and underwriting strategies to drive long-term profitability of the Auto Insurance Business.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to identify opportunities and ensure alignment with underwriting strategy.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Collaborate with the Growth and Product team to understand emerging customer needs and develop viable, profitable pricing models.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Analyze the portfolio from the perspective of the impact of underwriting on claims, and identify areas for improvement.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Work with the Data Science team to monitor, enhance, and implement changes to the Machine Learning-based Pricing Engine.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Manage the day-to-day underwriting tasks, ensuring efficient and effective operations.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Continuously monitor and update underwriting rules and SOP to maintain risk within the risk appetite and underwriting policy.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Oversee the development of technology platforms to support underwriting activities, and provide requirements to product managers and technology developers.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Test and iterate on the platform to ensure seamless underwriting operations.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Continuously monitor market underwriting practices and product availability, and conduct market research as needed.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Proactively manage stakeholders, including sales teams, product managers, and technology developers.</li>
</ul>
