You will be mainly accountable for:

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Design and development of BIW fixtures including spotwelding jigs, arc welding fixtures, roller hemming fixtures, and related tooling.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Execute detailed engineering tasks such as 3D finish, 2D detailing, BOM creation, documentation, and quality checks.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Work on concept and process studies covering weld studies, gun placement, layout analysis, unit building, and integration with Tier1/OEM standards.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Apply technical expertise in GD&amp;T, tolerances, materials, automotive manufacturing processes, welding line layouts, pneumatics, sensors, and BOP selection.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Collaborate effectively with teams, demonstrating strong communication, analytical, problemsolving, and presentation skills while maintaining a proactive and customerfocused approach.</li>
</ul>

Qualifications for the role

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Diploma or Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">3-6 years of relevant experience in BIW fixture design, process engineering, or related fields</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Proficiency in CAD design tools such as CATIA V5, SOLIDWORKS, AUTOCAD; exposure to Process Simulate/Robot Studio is an added advantage</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Handson experience in process engineering including layout concepts, cycle time creation, and fixture development (3D finish and 2D detailing)</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Ability to perform engineering calculations, quality checks, and ensure design integrity in line with industry standards</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Experience coordinating with thirdparty vendors including design houses, manufacturing partners, and boughtout parts suppliers</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Industry/domain exposure to Automotive OEMs, Tier1 suppliers, and robotic automation applications</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Willingness to travel and support I&amp;C teams at customer sites across India during execution and proveout activities </li>
